Workshop Terms & Conditions

  1. Full payment is needed to secure a place on any workshop.
  2. Due to the special nature of our workshops and the very limited enrolment we have a strict refund policy:If you cancel your booking more than 30 days before the workshop date you will receive a full refund.
    • If you cancel your booking more than 14 days before the workshop date you will receive a 50% refund.
    • If you cancel with less than 14 days till the workshop date you will not receive a refund.• If you find you are unable to attend one of our workshops, you may of course send someone in your place. Please let us know that person’s name before the workshop so we may welcome them to the class. We also need to know if they have any food requirements, allergies or health issues.

    • As a courtesy, we will re-advertise your place in the shop and online. There is no guarantee it will sell, but if it does, we will issue you a refund or voucher. You may use this voucher towards booking a workshop of your choice or in our shop.

  3. There are between 4 – 10 places on each course (depending on the type of class) and we need 3-5 people (depending on the type of class) booked on the course for them to go ahead. In the event of there not being enough people booked the class will unfortunately have to be cancelled. We will give at least 48 hrs notice and participants will have a choice of booking on to another date or a full refund will be issued.
  4. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a workshop, we’ll attempt to give you as much warning as possible. We will happily refund your booking fee or transfer you to a workshop of the same price – your choice.
  5. Unfortunately we can’t be held responsible for any disruptions in your travel arrangements. We do urge customers to arrange plenty of time to travel allowing for any delays. We understand that we are located in a remote area which may be disrupted by snow in the winter months. Refunds due to adverse weather conditions are at our discretion dependent upon conditions.
  6. For the majority of our classes, we provide all materials – all you have to do is show up. The workshop description will tell you which materials, if any, you’ll need to purchase and bring to class to complete your project. If materials are needed, we’ll email you a list before your workshop so you can take it with you when you shop.
  7. We will provide refreshments in all of our workshops but lunch is NOT provided during the full day workshops - please bring your own.
  8. Our workshops are suitable for a range of abilities. This will be clearly stated in the workshop description. Please make sure the workshop is suitable for your ability BEFORE you book your place. If you have any questions please contact us.
  9. Unless otherwise stated our classes are aimed at adults. We do however welcome children aged 12 and over, but anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and both attendees must book their places in advance.
  10. Please note – our workroom is located on the 2nd floor of our shop. We are sorry to say we cannot provide wheelchair access. Anyone who attends the workshops must be able to use the stairs.
