Sewing Machine Know How Workshop
Would you love to learn how to use a sewing machine but don’t know where to start? If so, look no further because this is the perfect place to start you off!
What you will learn….. Jo will take you through all the basics you need to know to use a sewing machine.
You will learn how to thread a machine, the different stitches and their uses, the different feet and their uses, needles and their different uses, how to control the tension, and how to sew a buttonhole. Jo will also be able to answer any questions you may have.
The skills you learn from this workshop should enable you to try out some simple sewing projects but we also offer lots of other sewing workshops to build up your confidence and develop your sewing techniques. Please take a look at our other workshops.
What’s included….. The use of a sewing machine and any other equipment and materials required, worksheets, refreshments (tea or coffee & biscuits served on vintage china).
You will also receive a 10% off voucher (valid for one week) for any haberdashery or craft item that is bought on the day of the workshop.
What you need to bring….. Nothing just yourself!
What skills you need to already have….. None at all! This workshop is perfect for complete beginners or people who would like a refresh session.

Age – This workshop has a minimum age requirement of 12yrs old. All under 16’s will need to be accompanied by an adult, for this workshop the adult must also be booked onto the workshop.
