Fancy learning a new creative skill? Come along to our workshop to learn the basics of paper cutting and enjoy the feeling of knowing you have created something beautiful.

What you will make….. Come along and make a beautiful paper cut festive light up wreath, either for your own home or perfect to give as a lovingly crafted, handmade gift this Christmas.

What you will learn….. Ho, ho, ho! Come along and make a beautiful festive light up wreath frame for your own home or perfect to give as a lovingly crafted, handmade gift this Christmas. This seasonal workshop introduces you to the basic skills of decorative paper cutting. Spend a relaxing session with the help of our lovely tutor Helen from Pocket Wren creating a beautiful seasonal piece that will look great in your home this Christmas.

What to expect:

– Quick run-through of the tools needed
– Essential Tips & Tricks in Paper Cutting
– Opportunity to practise your cutting skills
– Cut and construct your own framed light up wreath from a choice of templates

Proudly display your finished framed wreath in your home this festive season. The finished wreath will either hang on the wall or stand on a side.

The skills you learn from the morning should enable you to try further projects but we also offer lots of other workshops to build up your confidence and develop your skills. Please take a look at our other workshops.

What’s included….. We provide all the equipment needed, all materials, refreshments (tea or coffee & homemade cake served on vintage china).

What you need to bring….. Nothing, everything you need is provided!

What skills you need to already have….. None – suitable for complete beginners, don’t worry – drawing skills are not essential, templates will be provided! You just need a steady hand and a bit of patience!

Age – This workshop has a minimum age requirement of 12yrs old. All under 16’s will need to be accompanied by an adult, for this workshop the adult must also be booked onto the workshop.
