Free Motion Machine Embroidery Picture Workshop
What you will make….. You will produce a beautiful picture which you will attach to a canvas to make a unique work of art.
What you will learn….. This is a great workshop to learn how to do free motion embroidery and free motion appliqué. You will begin the day being taught the process of free motion embroidery. Later in the morning you will be shown how to combine the 2 techniques of appliqué and free motion embroidery. Once you have mastered this you will then go on to design your own picture in the afternoon. This can be a combination of free motion embroidery and appliqué. You will be provided with worksheets for inspiration but you can also produce your own unique design. This is suitable for absolute beginners or people who have already attended the introduction to free motion embroidery course. The only limit to your design is your imagination, you can lose yourself in sewing for the day!
The skills you learn from the day should enable you to try further projects but we also offer lots of next steps workshops to build up your confidence and develop your techniques. Please take a look at our other workshops.
